Using Dermal Defense Moisturizing Cream
The cream and its purpose
Dermal Defense Moisturizing Cream is a fragrance-free, leave-on moisturizer for dry, sensitive skin. The 12 fl oz pump jar can be used on the face and body.
When to moisturize
Apply twice daily or as needed. Reapply after washing and whenever the skin feels dry. After a bath or shower, gently pat the skin and apply while it is still slightly damp.
Choosing for children and sensitive skin
Follow the product label and consider the person’s skin sensitivities. For an infant, a child with a persistent rash or anyone with a known ingredient allergy, ask a clinician which moisturizer is appropriate.
Using cream with other skin care
The cream can be the moisturizing step after a gentle cleanser. If you use prescription treatments, follow your clinician’s directions for their timing and application.
Texture and facial application
The cream has a fast-absorbing texture. Start with a small amount on facial skin and add more where needed. Gently work it through facial hair to reach dry skin underneath.
Moisturizing alongside medical care
Dermal Defense Cream supports hydration. It is not a medicated eczema or dandruff treatment, and it does not replace treatment for persistent inflammation, infection or another diagnosed skin condition.
